Swiftships maintains an in-house engineering staff for the development of unique Swiftships designs. The engineering staff produces design packages to Mil-Standard, ABS, USCG and several international classification organizations' standards. Swiftships engineers produce custom modifications of existing crafts or complete new designs for customers around the world, whether for commercial crafts, military vessels and mega-yachts.

The engineering group maintains relationships with several outside design organizations for overflow engineering work or specialty requirements. With over 580 hulls at sea, Swiftships is proud of its in-house engineering capabilities.
