STANDARD SPECIFICATION - 135 FOOT U.S. NAVY YARD DIVING TENDER (YDT)

Swiftships' Model No. 135YDTPB1198 is a twin waterjet diesel powered aluminum diving tender. This vessel is designed to operate in coastal waters, approximately 200 miles from shore, and can operate in up to sea state 4. This is a standard production model for both military and commercial sales. superstructure is open boat deck aft, with pilothouse and craft office forward. This vessel will provide approximately 3000 square feet of mission space, and can be configured as a medium speed patrol/search and rescue boat.

MACHINERY

Main Engines - Two (2). Bow thruster - 20 inch, 90 HP TRAC electrical powered Bow Thruster. Optional Features: Main engine package, Mission equipment, Generator package, Electronics package, general arrangement and color scheme.

NAVIGATION AND COMMUNICATIONS

One (1) SSB radio (Marine Band), One (1) VHF/FM radio (Marine Band), One (1) General alarm system - bell/switch alarm, One (1) Hailer/Intercom system with sine, One (1) 26 Mile Surface Search radar to interface with GPS,One (1) compass with a 5 degree card on the pilot house on the open bridge, One (1) Danforth compass, One (1) Sonar, One (1) GPS interfaced with radar, One (1) barometer, One (1) Chronometer, One (1) Portable Anemometer.

HABITABILITY

This craft is configured for the training of divers. Habaibility spaces include: Main deck diving area, Recompression room, Diving support room, Diving Support equipment room, Diving support secure storage, Multi-purpose space for teachers and students, Multi-purpose space for crew, heads for crew and teachers/students. A kitchenette is provided with refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, sink and microwave.

BOAT/DIVER CRANES AND BOAT

A Zodiac Hurricane 472 (16 foot RIB with 25 hp outboard motor) that complies with SOLAS/USCG/SOLAS OUTBOARD requirements is provided and fitted aft deck of the superstructure. Two (2) Diver safe cranes are provided on the aft deck of the superstructure for diver stages and boat launching.
