Swiftships Model No. 57-USCG-CD-0798 is a quad-waterjet, diesel 57 Meter, Fast Patrol Boat and is designated as an ocean capable craft. Because of its draft, this deep-water platform can operate in water too shallow for most other vessels. The 57 Meter USCG-CD can launch and recover the RIB underway. The 57 Meter USCG-CD is primarily intended to fulfill the patrol, surveillance, search and rescue, drug interdiction, fisheries protection, refugee assistance, environmental and natural resources protection missions and general law enforcement role. As a secondary mission, the 57-Meter USCG-CD may be employed to support naval missions within the boats' inherent capabilities.
