These specifications describe an all welded aluminum patrol boat built to meet requirements for patrol activities.
MACHINERY
Main Engine: Three (3) M.T.U. 12V331TC92 engines provide 1330 S.H.P. each at 2200 RPM.
Reduction Gears: ZF, BW-255, 2.0:1 Ratio
Generators: Two (2) 40 kW generators driven by Detroit Diesel 4-71 diesel engines at 1200 RPM.
Shafts: 3.5 inch diameter Aquamet 17 inch Stainless Steel shafts.
Propellers: Three (3) four bladed Bronze Columbian.
Potable Water Pressure Sets: 1/2 H.P. Ruthberry with 26 gallon tanks.
Air Conditioning: Central type cooling unit servicing the galley, staterooms, and pilothouse. Heat to be provided by duct mounted strip heaters. Nine (9) ton capacity total.
Engine Room Ventilation: One (1) 16 inch Reed Blower.
Generator Room Ventilation: One (1) 16 inch Reed Blower.
Steering System: Two (2) Hydreco Hydraulic Pumps with Charlynn Orbitrols.
BILGE AND FIRE SYSTEM
Bilge and fire pump 10CCE, 3 inches, with 5 H.P., 208 volt, 60 cycle 50 degree Celsius motor. Bilge and fire pump, JABSCO Model 18310-0000 belt driven off each generator. Auxiliary pump - Barnes Model 9HCG, portable, gasoline driven. Two fire stations on the main deck (port and starboard).
